The HRA values for postings within Assam are based on the fixed amounts specified in the RoP 2017 notification, with separate rates for Guwahati, District & Sub-Divisional headquarters, and other places. For employees posted outside the North-East region, the central HRA rates of 24%, 16%, and 8% for X, Y, and Z class cities respectively are applied.
